Leaves rustle:
These works were made while thinking about lifecycles, growth and decay, and how elements on earth are recycled over and over and transformed into something new.

I use the natural fluidity in the paint and the wood to create organic and natural forms. When cutting the wood, I cut a shape that reflects the images and forms I see. These forms are informed by taking note of the grain and natural patterns and knots in the wood. In Some areas, I water the paint down to highlight the patterns in the wood, while in other areas, it is heavily applied to insert an invading or new life form.
