"Massive death" depicts a black horse lying on its side. Horses are often used to represent strength, freedom or power. Knocked on its side implies the loss of these things and possibly life as well. In front of the horse is a body of water. Placing these together seemed natural, although they don't take up the space of the painting in a logical way. The water and the horse seem isolated from any other environment, and possibly from each other. They are painted as though they were collaged together drawing to question how well they may relate, and what they represent.
