Floor Length and Tux is a series of single-evening exhibitions in which
Catie Olson of Spiderbug, and
EC Brown formerly of COMA, work on new projects in conjunction with a few invited artists.
Charlotte Street Foundation (CSF) supports and recognizes outstanding artists in Greater Kansas City; presents, promotes, enhances and encourages the visual, performing and interdisciplinary arts; and fosters economic development in the urban core of Kansas City, MO.
Review Incorporated provides support for visual art projects originating in Greater Kansas City, including Review Publishing, a local art magazine,and Review Studios.
Founded in 1985 by Jim Leedy, with the vision of initiating a thriving art community in Kansas City. The art center has galleries hosting shows of international talent, while providing a venue for local, regional, and national artists to develop their careers. They also provide art education and community outreach as well as artists studios.
The Avenue of the arts is a public art grant for Kansas City artists to create temporary public art installiations.
AtA is a program developed to help architects and their clients find appropriate artists for different types of projects including, collecting artwork, commissioning new temporary or permanent artworks, including artists on design teams. Artists have been selected for eligibility in one or more of these categories.
